Think First with Jim Detjen
Think First is a short-form podcast that makes you pause — before you scroll, share, or believe the headline.
Hosted by Jim Detjen, a guy who’s been gaslit enough to start a podcast about it, Think First dives into modern narratives, media manipulation, and cultural BS — all through the lens of gaslighting and poetic truth.
Some episodes are two minutes. Some are ten. It depends on the story — and the energy drink situation.
No rants. No lectures. Just sharp questions, quick insights, and the occasional laugh to keep things sane.
Whether you’re dodging spin in the news, politics, or that “trust me, bro” post in your feed… take a breath. Think first.

Epstein (Part 1) · The Client List Never Existed
The DOJ’s new Epstein memo claims there’s no blackmail, no client list, and no murder.
In this first installment, we walk through what they said — and what it signals.
Because if you’re wondering how Ghislaine Maxwell trafficked children to no one… you’re asking the wrong questions.

No client list, no blackmail, no conspiracy, just a very sad man who took his own life in a highly secure federal prison. And now the FBI and DOJ would like us all to move on. Oh, and the 11 hours of security footage? We've got it. It just needs to be enhanced because that worked out so well last time.
Speaker 1:This is Think First where we don't follow the script. We question it Because in a world full of poetic truths and professional gaslighting, someone's got to say the quiet part out loud. Why does it feel like the more they insist something is true, the more suspicious it sounds? The more they insist something is true, the more suspicious it sounds. What happened to all the promises, the binders, the files, the bombshells? What changed for the people who once fed the fire and why now? Pam Bondi said it was coming, kash Patel said the files were on his desk, dan Bongino said buckle up. And now those same voices are telling us to settle down. Case closed, move along. He definitely killed himself. Cool story, bro.
Speaker 1:We were told this was the scandal that would shake the world. We didn't imagine the plane logs, the sealed testimonies, the connections to some of the most powerful people on earth. We didn't imagine the broken neck bones to some of the most powerful people on earth. We didn't imagine the broken neck bones or the security cameras that malfunctioned, or the second suicide attempt that didn't work. And now they tell us there was never a client list. This isn't just gaslighting, this is a trust burn. Here's what just dropped A DOJ memo that says officially, there's no client list, no blackmail tapes and no evidence that Jeffrey Epstein's death was anything but self-inflicted. And just like that, the one thing almost every American agreed on is now off the table. Elon Musk chimed in. Quote this is the final straw, end quote, because it's not about left or right anymore, it's about credibility. And the government just walked out of the fire wearing a gas can. You don't have to be a conspiracy theorist to feel like you're being handled. You just have to be paying attention, because this isn't closure, it's a disappearing act.
Speaker 1:And if you missed our first Epstein episode, the one that lit up downloads all week, go back and listen. It's called Epstein. The Truth Is Out there, but so Is the Gaslight. We dropped it before the DOJ memo and now it hits even harder. It is episode three. This episode, it's just the beginning, because in part two we're diving even deeper. We'll break down the names, the mechanics and the timeline of how the narrative flipped and why the media, the government and even some MAGA voices seem more interested in managing outrage than delivering truth.
